In the middle and toward the end of the week, light precipitation is expected in some areas only on Thursday, while slightly heavier rain is forecast for Saturday. Overall, the weather will remain predominantly grey and overcast.
In the coming days, fog will thicken in places, reducing visibility. Southerly and south-westerly winds will dominate, blowing at light to moderate strength. In the second half of the week, winds along the coast will strengthen slightly and become gusty. On Thursday, temperatures in many areas will hover around 0°C, though air temperatures will generally range between +1 and +6°C.
During the daytime, coastal areas will be a few degrees warmer.
The following week will also begin with calm weather and little precipitation. However, temperatures — especially during the darker hours of the day — will be a couple of degrees lower than during the pre-holiday week. By Wednesday, temperatures are expected to drop below 0°C.
