Purvciems ice skating rink could open in about a month

Eight years ago, a public skating rink with artificial ice was built next to Rīga Secondary School No. 84, in the Purvciems neighbourhood. In recent years, the rink has stood empty. A delay in purchasing refrigeration equipment is to blame. The skating rink could resume operations at the end of January next year, Latvian Television's 4. studija reports.
