Latvian coalition parties retain frosty relationship over last-minute budget proposals

New Unity, the party of Prime Minister Evika Siliņa, chose not to organize a conversation with its coalition partners last week about proposals for next year's budget, the leaders of the two other coalition forces - the Greens and Farmers' Union (ZZS) and the Progressives - confirmed to the Latvian Radio program "Krustpunktā" (At the Crossroads) on November 11th.
