All but two Latvian mayors granted access to state secrets so far

Of the local government leaders who had needed clearance to state secrets required by law, only Aleksandrs Bartaševičs, chairman of the Rēzekne City Council, and Gatis Truksnis, former mayor of Jūrmala, were denied access, according to the State Security Service (VDD).
